Parent Conference Sign-Ups open up this Saturday (Nov 12), and will remain open through next Thursday (Nov 17).  To sign-up, visit the CBMS Homepage and click on the "Parent Conference E-Scheduler" link.  The password is "cbms".  This is a very user-friendly system, and more detailed instructions should are below. For Applied Academics classes, be sure to ask your child which class he/she is currently enrolled and sign up for a conference as appropriate. 

Step-By-Step Parent/Guardian Instructions

  1. Visit the school’s homepage ( and select the Online Scheduler icon/link.
  2. From the Online Scheduler Home Page
    1. Choose your student’s school from the drop down list and click “GO”
    2. Enter the school password (cbms)
    3. Enter your student’s “Student ID”.  If you do not know their Student ID, use the LOOKUP STUDENT ID button to access the system.
    4. Verify the student’s birth date 
    5. A list of your student’s teachers will be displayed.  Check the box next to the name of each teacher(s) you would like to meet with.
    6. If you have more than one student in the school you can see all of your students’ teachers’ schedules at one time by answering YES to this question “Do you want to schedule conferences for another student?” then repeat the steps above for your other students.  If you only have one student, answer NO to that question.
    7. You will then see the available time slots for each teacher you selected.
    8. Select the times that work best for your schedule. 
    9. Enter your email address (recommended) if you would like an email reminder sent to you. (Your email address is kept private.)
    10. Once you have finished you can confirm your appointment details and print your conference schedule.
    11. Write down the Confirmation Number (you will need this number to cancel your appointment)

Barefoot Truth is playing at Higher Ground this Saturday...all age shows at 7PM (seated acoustic) and 10:30PM (non-seated electric)

Girl Scout Troop 30028 Pie Sale.  Amber Proteau, Emma Jean, Madison D'Amico, Anna Belongia and Becca Russell are having their 3rd Annual Pie Fundraiser again this year.  They are making pumpkin and apple pies ......proceeds to benefit the Good Neighbor Fund and another Waterbury/Duxbury nonprofit (tbd).  The pies are $12.00 each and will be made on November 19th.  Pies will be picked up at the Waterbury Congregational Church.  Their goal is to try and make and sell 150 pies.  If anyone is interested in buying a pie they can email Leslie at
