The Community Recovery Fair is this Thursday night at TBPS. This is the culmination of the Long-Term Community Recovery (LTCR) process led by FEMA to help steer the Waterbury area in a good direction to move on after the flood. There are 19 project proposals for people to take a look at and have a say in what you think is most important. The topics range widely from flood-proofing important infrastructure, relocating the town offices, attention to the arts and recreation, boosting our affordable housing stock, even helping the displaced child care/preschool operations get back to permanent homes. Hosted by the Village Trustees and Waterbury Select Board who along with the FEMA team really want to hear public opinion!!
