On February 25 the 5/6 boys basketball teams hosted a tournament to raise money for the trip to Ferry Beach.  Teams from Berlin, Barre and CBMS competed in a single elimination tournament.   Two of our three teams walked away with trophies, with coach Scott Culver's team earning a trophy for 3rd place and coaches Brett Hill and Scott Cunningham's team earning a trophy for 2nd place.  A team from Barre earned the first place trophy.  The games were great fun to watch!  This event raised $738 plus sponsorships totaling $400 for a net total money raised of $1138.  A very special thanks to Sam Grandfield for coming up with the idea to host this tournament to raise money for his classmates to go on the Ferry Beach trip.  The tournament would not have been successful without the help of the following people- thanks to all for your help!
