Hello CBMS Community,

Our names are Cassie Wisdom and Nikki Rosado, and we are eighth graders at Crossett Brook Middle School. In seventh and eighth grade we do a year-round project called Change the World. We are doing health as our topic and have spent the year raising money for breast cancer and raising awareness. We want to top off our Change the World project by doing a large function at the end of the year, which will be a run/walk. The run/walk will be May 5, 2013, 12:00-3:00, and will support breast cancer research. In one year alone, there were 288,130 cases of breast cancer, and 39,520 of these cases ended in death. We want to do our part to ensure that not as many women suffer from this disease in the future. The goal of the run/walk is to raise $1,500 and all proceeds will go to The  Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
We apologize for the late notice, but are in desperate need for walkers and runners, and would love to have you join us to show your support and help us raise awareness for breast cancer. There is a $15 registration fee, and all proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And it will be a 5k starting and ending at CBMS.  To access the registration form, please click here.

We hope to see you there,
Cassie Wisdom and Nikki Rosado
