Cougar Cafe Lunch Bills - Please take a moment to check PowerSchool, and if your child has a negative lunch balance please send in $$ next week to clear this up. Positive lunch balances will carry over to the next school year, for both students staying at CBMS and those going to HUHS. Eraser Challenge- We want to make you aware of a troubling "activity" that teens across America are getting involved in, called the Eraser Challenge. To date, we have had a number of CBMS students engage in this very unsafe activity. Students have explained the Eraser Challenge this way: kids take an eraser and begin "erasing" their skin while saying the alphabet and coming up with a word for each letter. Once they get to the letter Z, they stop and then compare the injury to their friends. Most students use their arms to do this, from their elbow to their wrist — however it can be anywhere on their body. Please take the time to talk to your child about this to make sure they are not involved in this absurd and unsafe act. See this link with more information.
June 19th dismissal is at 12:10- a bit later than a normal early release day due to final exams at HUHS.
