How to register:
The CBMS Athletics Department has made the transition from "paper forms" to an online registration format (familyid.com). In order to register your child for a winter sport you must go to the CBMS Athletics page, which can be found in the Parents tab on the CBMS website.

At the top of the CBMS Athletics page there are two registration links, one for CBMS programs and one for Harwood programs. The 2014-15 Winter Athletics Registration link is located at the bottom of the FamilyID website.
You can also access winter athletics registration with the following active links:

The registration deadline for winter athletics is Wednesday, November 26th. The winter sports season will begin November 17th.

Fall sports are wrapping up, and believe it or not it is time to think Basketball!  This coming year marks our fourth annual grades 5/6 Basketball Tournament held here at CBMS. It is open to boys and girls teams from around the area, and Waterbury/Duxbury is always well represented.  We are looking for someone to help organize this event.  Tasks include building brackets, contacting the other schools, and organizing referees.  I am happy to continue with the volunteer and concession end of everything, but I can't do this one alone.  If you are interested please contact me asap as teams are already contacting me and I cannot proceed without some help.  Thank you!  Melisa Semprebon

Changing the World, one bag at a time!  (From 7th grader Liam Jennings)  For my change the world project I am getting rid of plastic shopping bags.  The US uses 100 billion plastic shopping bags per year!  They waste resources and make mountains of garbage.  Reusable shopping bags are our solution. I made some great reusable shopping bags- photo above. They have a cougar logo and they can stand up on their own.  This is an online order form http://goo.gl/forms/kZfmf81gnD   I am also going to the soccer jamboree on Saturday.

CBMS Junk BandWe are starting a junk band during the Wednesday music block! Students must sign up before 10/29 to ensure there will be enough instruments for our first practice on 11/5!  We have plans of marching in the River of light parade on December 6th.  Click here to sign up your child. For more information, contact Dan Liptak at dliptak@wwsu.org
