“Girls on Track” Call for Coaches - After several years of offering a successful “Girls on the Run” program for grades 3-5 at TBPS, we are interested in expanding to offer at CBMS the “Girls on Track” middle-level program for grades 6-8. The primary focus of this 12-week program is teaching girls to face many challenges and obstacles that can affect their emotional and physical well-being. Once participants have a deeper awareness of their individual values, we look at the role of teams and healthy relationships in personal development. Lastly, the girls explore how they can positively connect with and shape the world. All of this exploration is done through a guided curriculum which incorporates running. We begin in March and conclude in early June. We are seeking caring, committed coaches for “Girls on Track” at CBMS. Training is provided and running expertise is not necessary.
