The Vermont Modelers Club will run a flying demonstration of remote controlled airplanes in the CBMS gym this Sunday, March 29th from noon to 4PM. Open to all students and parents!  Come see if flying is for you!  Click here for more information on this club. 

2nd Annual Ice Out Raffle To Guess When the Waterbury Pool Ice Will Melt.  Supports TBPS-CBMS Odyssey of the Mind.  Tickets can be purchased in the school offices through April 10th.

3rd Annual Summer Math Camp @ CBMS - Hosted by Tegan Garon.  This summer, your kids have the opportunity to attend a week-long math camp, where they can practice skills and learn new concepts in a fun and interactive way!  Tegan Garon, a senior at the University of Vermont’s Honors College majoring in Secondary Education Mathematics, will be hosting the camp for the third year in a row.  Through collaborative, hands-on, and real-world activities, campers will be able to refresh their math skills and explore new topics.  Learning activities in previous years have included: running a mock candy store, shooting baskets to teach statistics, building towers of toothpicks and marshmallows, and much more.The camp will run Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 3, from 9:30am to noon, at CBMS.  The camp is open to any incoming 6th, 7th, or 8th grader, of any math ability.  The cost for Reserve your spot and sign up SOON by emailing Tegan: teags3@yahoo.com.  You may also email him with any questions or concerns.


Digital Safety Training Parent/Student Seminar on Tuesday, April 7th from 6:30-8pm in the Harwood Library.  What is TECHNICOOL?
  • A technology safety program designed by Prevent Child Abuse for Vermont youth in grades 4-12, their parents, guardians, caregivers, and educators
  • TECHNICOOL encourages digital citizenship and promotes healthy online relationships.
  • An interactive presentation- TECHNICOOL provides its participants with the resources and tools needed to create a positive social media presentation.
