Back to School Night is happening on Thursday, October 6th, and we hope to have 100% of CBMS students represented!  This night is for all grades at CBMS, and feel free to bring your Middle School with you!  Schedule:
  • 5:30-6:00- Applied Academics and PE "drop-in"...visit rooms as you wish.
  • 6:00-6:10- Advisory Group (AG)
  • 6:10-7ish- Core Team time

ODYSSEY OF THE MIND: Last call! Teams are being finalized for the creative problem-solving program for kids K-8 in our schools. Anyone interested who may have missed the organizing meeting, please contact OM coordinator Lisa Scagliotti as soon as possible.

2Day!  The CBMS Climbing Club will begin its 4th year with a brief slide show and chance to find out what this activity is all about this Friday, Sept 30th in the library from 2:30 to 3:00 PM. 5th graders and their parents are welcome. You do not need any equipment or any experience to join - just a spirit of adventure! We'll learn the basics at school, then go to the two climbing gyms in the Burlington area, then outdoors in 2017 when warm weather returns.

Bake-A-DIfference: The 4th Annual Cookies for KIds' Cancer (CFKC) Bake Sale Event will be Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5:30-7:30 at the CBMS Back to School Night and on Saturday, Oct. 8 at The Alchemist Brewery (10 AM-2PM). CFKC raises important funds for pediatric cancer research. We welcome your yummy cookie donations of all varieties at the Donation Stations at both TBPS and CBMS on Thursday Oct. 6 or by arrangement on Friday. Please label your Cookies with type of cookie, and your name. No need to package them in any special way, as we will be doing that prior to the sale. Not interesting in baking or buying cookies? Please consider a "doughnation" in the "Cookie Jars" that will be in the school offices all next week!
