June 16

Parents of current 4th graders- Sneak Peaks are a chance for you and your rising 5th grader to walk around CBMS when the building is quiet, to check out library books from the CBMS Trish Feld Library for the summer, to try out the opening of a locker, and generally to get the lay of the CBMS land.  These are happening from 4-6pm on Wednesday, June 21st, and 8-10am on Thursday, June 22nd.  No formal presentation or agenda...simply drop in when you want, if you want.

The Y Pod is the CBMS after school program, and this program runs from 2:30-5PM each day, with an option to go to 6PM.  For more details, click here.

Before school care will be offered at TBPS next year, and it is open to CBMS students as well.  This begins at 6:45am each day.  For more details, click here.

As the 2016-2017 school year comes to a close, the CBMS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to thank all of our parents, teachers and volunteers for an amazing year. Because of our fundraising and volunteer efforts, we were able to offer an action-packed year of exciting events that reinforced the already strong fabric of our Cougar Community and enriched the educational experience of our children and families.

We would like the send a special thank you to Kathleen Luce for her amazing coordination of the 5th/6th Grade Fun Nights and Georgianna Birmingham for her continued commitment to educational outreach for CBMS parents.

While it may be difficult to see the day-to-day impact that the PTO has on CBMS, below are just a few of the highlights to help you understand the importance of your continued support:

The PTO helped fund field trips to Boston, individual field trips for 7th and 8th grade teams,  gave supporting grants to Girls on the Run, the music room for new guitars, start up money for a girls softball team, continued fun nights for 5th and 6th grade, after school clubs.

Without our support, these items and programs will become challenging to maintain and could cease to exist at CBMS. This is why the community and school are so grateful for parents like you. Without your support our children would not have all of these wonderful opportunities.

For the 2017-18 school year, we will be looking to fill the vacancies of Vice President and Treasurer. We are currently a group of full-time working parents and are in need of continued parental involvement. Look for new and exciting things to come from the PTO in the fall and we will be looking for  new faces to help enhance the education of all our children.
